Sour Cherry and Juniper Gin Cocktail Inspired by Yellowstone

Recipe for gin cocktail made with sour cherry juice, Juniper berries and rosemary – ingredients local to the Dutton family ranch in Montana and inspired by the red dominos played in the Yellowstone Bunkhouse.

Ingredients

  • 4 dried juniper berries divided
  • 4 small sprigs rosemary divided
  • 2 oz Ransom dry gin
  • 2 oz sour cherry juice
  • 2 oz orange or tangerine flavored sparkling water

Instructions

  • Muddle two juniper berries and 2 rosemary sprigs in the bottom of a shaker to release the flavors. Add the dry gin and sour cherry juice, then fill with ice. Shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker becomes frosty, then pour into a rocks glass and top with sparkling water to fill. Garnish with the remaining rosemary sprigs and juniper berries.
