Campfire Corn on the Cob
The secret to perfectly grilled corn in the husk for campfires or cookouts is soaking the ears first.

Ingredients

  • 6 ears corn in their husks

Instructions

  • Soak the corn in water for at least an hour. Drain, then cut the silk from the end of the ears with a kitchen scissors.
  • Grill over direct medium heat with the lid closed, or place 4-6 inches from the coals in a fire pit, for 25 to 35 minutes, turning occasionally. The husks will blacken.
  • Let cool slightly then peel back the husk and remove the silk before eating.
